How to use World Phone

1. Find the World Phone app on your phone.
2. The first time you open the app, you will need to follow a couple of steps to get the app up and running.
3. First we need to register your mobile number in the app. Please enter your mobile number on the first screen in the format +61 4xx xxx xxx. Then press Continue.
4. You will then be sent an SMS message with a 6-digit number. Please enter that number into the World Phone Activation screen.
5. This completes the activation.
6. You will then be shown the Terms and Conditions for using the app. You will need to accept these Terms and Conditions before going any further.
7. Next you will be taken through a tutorial that helps you familiarise yourself with World Phone key features.
8. Finally you will need to give World Phone permission to do certain tasks to help the app work properly. Simply click on “allow” on the boxes that pop up on your screen.
9. You’re all set!

1. Open the World Phone app.
2. If you are calling someone in your address book, simply click on the Contacts tab at the bottom of the screen.
3. Then scroll through your contacts to find the person you want to call, or you can search by name using the Search bar at the top of the screen.
4. Once you’ve found the person you want to call, click on their name.
5. On the contact screen click the phone number you want to call.
6. If you want to dial a phone number, click on the Keypad tab at the bottom of the screen.
7. Then enter the number you want to call.

7. Then enter the number you want to call.

It’s best to divert your phone calls to your Secondline Number on the day you leave.

Mobile providers around the world have an easy way to divert calls to another number - by just dialing a code!

Here’s how to do it. Be sure to dial the code in your phone’s regular phone dialler, NOT World Phone.

Add Call Diversions

1. Dial: **21*[Your Secondline Number with the ‘08’ Area Code]#
2. Call

Remove Call Diversions

1. Dial: ##21#
2. Call

Check if Call Diversion is On or Off

1. Dial: *#21#
2. Call

Please note: Some providers charge a small fee for diverting calls. Usually this is a low rate of 5¢-10¢ per minute when calling a local number (like your Secondline Number).

Some provider-specific charges are noted below:

• Most major proisuch as Optus, Telstra and Vodafone, do not charge for call diversions to local numbers.
• Amaysim Pre-paid plans incur charges of $0.20 per 60 minutes.
• Woolworths Pre-paid plans incur charges of $0.40 + $0.90 per 60 seconds (or part thereof).
• Boost Prepaid plans require a Bolt-On to enable call diversion. Charges of $0.35 + $0.89 per 60 seconds (or part thereof) are incurred if a Bolt-On is not purchased.
